"Greased Lightning”

For the last couple of weeks it has been all hands on deck in Boherbue Comprehensive School as Transition Year and Fourth Year students were preparing to stage their musical “Greased Lightning”. It ran for three nights in the “Pearse Memorial hall” in Boherbue and was sold out each night. It was a first class production, and an excellent nights entertainment that stimulated all the senses. The show was co-ordinated by Treasa o Reilly,directed and choreographed by Margot Carlile and the musical director was Christopher Hennessy.

Apart from the cast who were amazing, individual students, teachers and office staff excelled in their commitment  to ensuring an X factor performance each night. It was a team effort and the school are extremely grateful to the parents council who were proactive from the very beginning in ensuring the success of this venture. The school would like to acknowledge and thank the hall committee  and also thank our sponsors for their generous contribution.
