Transition Year pupils from Boherbue Comprehensive School and Cólaiste Treasa took part in a 4K “Santa Dash” in Kanturk on Fri 16^th Dec. There was an array of Christmas outfits on display during the run but the overall winner for the best costume went to “Santa in his sleigh” -  Ned Blyth from Boherbue. In the excellent weather conditions there was serious competition  in the race with Anthony Buckley from Boherbue pipped at the post by 8 seconds. He ran the 4K in 15mins 38secs. Alan o Connor came in third place. In the girls section Lisa o Keeffe came in second place just ahead of Kate Willis.  Everybody completed the course and had an enjoyable day.
