Proceedings began with  the Principal welcoming a huge crowd of students,parents , staff  and introducing our guest speaker the world famous musician Liam o Connor and his three children.  Liam then addressed the crowd and played some fantastic music on his accordion. It was then down to the business of the prize giving where Mrs Fitzgerald read the citations and Liam presented the prizes. Congratulations to all the students who were acknowledged... Chairman of the Board of Management Mr Pat Favier then addressed the crowd.. Finally Liam played again for an enthusiastic crowd ably accompanied by his son Oisin and daughter Saoirse. There was also an unexpected dance performance from a member of staff which was v enthusiastically received by the entire audience.. At the end of the night everybody was invited to the school canteen for some refreshments. Overall the night was a huge success and many thanks to everybody who helped in any way. A special thanks to our guest speaker Liam o Connor for taking time out of his busy schedule  to make our awards night.
