Our annual ‘in der Eisdiele’ morning took place on Friday 27th October. Second year students were provided with a unique opportunity to practice their German vocabulary while enjoying some delicious ice-cream. Students took on the roles of servers and customers and used their German to communicate with the servers, respond to their questions and order different flavours of ice-cream as well as their desired toppings.  Such events help students to gain confidence in using the target language.

An enjoyable afternoon was had by all and this was a lovely ending to our first term. Many thanks to our german teacher Ms O Donovan for  organising this event.
