Congratulations to TY students Donal Casey and Senan Murphy who won the All Ireland U16 rowing finals in Wexford recently. Representing the Fossa Rowing Club they were joined by Killarney’s Rebecca o Connell and Padraig Talbot and their boat was coxed by Connor Griffin. This race was a tough challenge as it was coastal rowing, 1500 metres out to sea and back. They powered on from start to finish and were clear winners in the end.

Congratulations to L Cert students Emma Moynihan and Shane Curtin who are members of the Crossfields Ceili Band that took 1^st place in the music section of  the All Ireland Fleadh Cheoil held in Drogheda recently. They have won gold for the fourth year in a row..

Well done to all involved including the students, their parents and coaches for the time and effort put in to preparing for these wonderful achievements. All Ireland medals are not easily won!
