On Friday 28th of September, as part of European Week of Sport, a series of games between teachers and students were held in the school gym.  All 2nd, 3rd and TY student got to attend and paid an entrance fee with all proceeds going to the Irish Wheelchair Association.  Game one pitted 3rd year students against a selection of teachers in a game of basketball with the teachers eventually winning by 2 points.  Game 2 was the TY's against teachers in a soccer game, and despite a last minute penalty the game finished in a draw 2-2.  The highlight of the event was the Tug-of-War whereby the students trounced the teachers in all competitions and left with the bragging rights.  Thanks to Mrs. Fitzgerald for organising and all the students and teachers who took part.
