There was great excitement in the school when former pupil Shauna Kelly who won an All Ireland medal playing wing back with Cork in this year’s All Ireland Senior Ladies final on September 25th brought the “Brendan Martin Cup” to the school on Wed 12th October.

The Enrolment Night for Incoming First Years took place on Thursday 6th October. The Principals address took place at 7.30pm in the school library. She began by welcoming the huge crowd of prospective parents and pupils, and then went through a presentation on the school and its excellent facilities

On Monday 16th May 2016, the 1st year students travelled to Ballyhass Lakes Activity Centre with their teachers Ms. O'Sullivan and Mr. Roche. The students were split into 3 groups and took part in activities such as "The Leap of Faith", Abseiling and Kayaking. Students had a very enjoyable day. Thank you to Ms O Sullivan for organising the trip and Mr Roche who also travelled on the day.

On Thursday 12th May 2016 the 1st year boys Football team took part in a blitz in Mallow GAA complex. We played 3 games against Patrician Academy, Mitchelstown and Fermoy. The team played very well and enjoyed their day out. Thanks to Mr Roche who travelled with the team.
